Wontons are originally part of Chinese cuisine, however they can be quite versatile in a number of different recipes. They are utilized in this dessert as a cracker and topped with cream and fresh fruits for an easy, yet scrumptious dessert…
Ingredients (for 2)
- 8 wonton wrappers
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/2 kiwi
- 1/2 cup white yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp white sugar
Directions
- Set oven to 350˚F and use aluminum foil to line a large baking sheet; lightly coat sheet using butter
- Put wontons onto greased baking sheet; lightly coat wontons with butter then add a sprinkle of sugar
- Bake for 8 minutes or until wontons are crispy and golden, take from heat and cool slightly
- Combine kiwi and strawberries (chopped) in a medium bowl
- Assemble dessert by laying a wonton wrapper on a plate then top with yogurt and fruit
- Put another wonton on top of stack followed by yogurt and a strawberry slice for garnish
- Serve as is or chill and enjoy!
