Probably the most famous Greek dip, perfect for your souvlakis and gyros recipes… Use Greek yogurt for best results!
Ingredients (for 2)
- 1/2 cup white yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- salt
Directions
- Peel, deseed and finely grate the cucumbers
- In a small bowl, add yogurt, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, olive oil, crushed garlic and a pinch of salt
- Mix well until blended, cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes
Best Served With
Any meat based Greek dish or on its own as a dip for your favorite vegetables / chips
