Ingredients (for 2)
- 1 pork tenderloin steak (about 5-6 oz.)
- 1/2 mango
- 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 scallion
- 1 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 garlic clove
- salt, pepper & chili as desired
Directions
- Wash, deseed and chop peppers, and set aside
- Heat oil in a skillet over high heat then add garlic, saute for 2 minutes until fragrant
- Add pork, pepper and salt, and stir fry for 1 minute
- Put in peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes then remove from skillet and set aside
- Add orange juice to skillet and boil until it reduces by half
- Put in rice wine, honey, soy sauce, ginger, vinegar, chili, sesame oil and bouillon
- Cook for 3-5 minutes, then add cooked pork to mixture
- Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to pot, then add mangoes (chopped) and cook for another minute
- Serve hot!
