Shrimp Fried Rice

Fried rice is originally Chinese, however you can get as creative as you like when preparing it. To prepare fried rice simply use leftover rice along with vegetables and meat or seafood of your choice…

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 cup shrimp
  • 1/2 cup green beans
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • Chop onions, carrots and green beans; stir fry in vegetable oil for a few minutes until crunchy
  • Add sweet corn, shrimp and peas (canned); stir fry for 4-5 minutes
  • Finally add cooked rice to skillet along with soy sauce, and toss to combine
  • Remove from heat and serve right away!
