Ingredients (for 2)
- 1 cup paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander / cilantro
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 tbsp mint
- chili peppers, as desired
- a pinch of salt
Directions
- Soak the skewers in cold water for about 15 minutes
- In the meantime, cut the cottage cheese into bite size pieces and put them in a bowl
- Put the rest of the ingredients in a food processor or blender: milk, lemon juice, garam masala, fresh coriander and mint leaves, garlic cloves, chili peppers and a pinch of salt
- Pulse until you get a smooth mixture
- Pour the sauce over the cheese, stir, cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for one hour
- Once ready, thread the pieces over the skewers and grill them 2 minutes per side
