A richer version of the classic miso soup with wakame seaweeds and tofu. A perfect starter!
Ingredients (for 2)
- 2 cups dashi
- 1/2 cup tofu
- 2 tbsp miso paste
- 1/3 cup wakame
Directions
- Take a saucepan and bring Dashi stock to a boil
- In the meantime soak wakame seaweeds in a cup with cold water for 5 minutes
- Drain and squeeze out excess water from wakame
- Slice it thinly and reserve aside
- In a small cup or glass, dissolve the miso paste into some Dashi stock
- Cut tofu in small cubes and add it to the saucepan with boiling Dashi
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 minute
- Then add wakame slices and dissolved miso
- As soon as the soup returns to boil again, turn off the heat and serve hot in serving cups
