Guacamole is a Mexican sweet and sour salsa often sided to grilled meat and tortillas. Much easier to prepare than you might expecr, fresh and full of vitamins, enriches your meal and your soul…

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/4 red tomato
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds (or powder)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 jalapeño pepper
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 tbsp coriander / cilantro
  • salt & black pepper


  • Cut in half the avocados, scoop out the pulp and reserve into a medium bowl
  • Add the lime juice, salt, ground cumin, freshly ground black pepper and toss to combine
  • With a potato masher or with a fork, start to mash all ingredients in the bowl
  • Once the mixture is mashed to your taste, add the diced onion, diced red tomatoes (seeded), diced jalapeño peppers, finely chopped coriander and minced garlic
  • Let rest at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve!
