Ingredients (for 2)
- 2 beef fillets (about 280 gr. or 10 oz.)
- 2 tsp green peppercorn
- 3 tbsp cooking cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brandy
- 1/2 tbsp mustard
- salt
Directions
- Crush half of the peppercorns, cover both sides of the fillets and season with a pinch of salt
- Melt the butter in a frying pan and cook the fillets at medium heat 2 minutes per side
- Put aside the fillets in a dish
- Add the brandy, the cooking cream and the mustard, cook gently, stirring frequently, until you have a nice creamy sauce
- Add the fillets and let them absorb the flavor of the sauce at low heat for 2 minutes on both sides
- Serve and garnish with the remaining half of the peppercorns
