Greek Salad

A Greek classic! Use Kalamata olives and red onions for an authentic flavor…

Ingredients (for 2)

  • romaine lettuce (about 120 gr or 4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup black olives
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/2 tbsp chives
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt & black pepper

Directions

  • Prepare the vinaigrette mixing olive oil, vinegar, oregano, chives, garlic (crushed) and a pinch of salt and pepper
  • Cut the feta cheese into cubes and the cherry tomatoes into quarters
  • Slice the cucumber, the carrots and the onions
  • Prepare a bed of lettuce in a large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients
  • Garnish with the pitted olives
  • Pour the vinaigrette on the salad and serve
