Very easy French meatballs with a rounded and delicious taste. Perfect also as aperitif or finger food in any occasion…
Ingredients (for 2)
- 2 cups ground beef
- 2/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup ham
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 1/4 onion
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 stalk celery
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt & black pepper
Directions
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients, except the eggs: meat (finely minced), ham, 2/3 of the breadcrumbs, onions (grated), celery (diced), green peppers (diced) and paprika powder
- Season with salt, black pepper, parsley (finely chopped) and some lemon juice
- Shape the meat into small balls with your hands
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl or dish and dip the croquettes in the beaten eggs, before dusting with the remaining breadcrumbs
- Heat the oil in a skillet and sauté the meatballs until well browned on all sides
