The delicate taste of flatfish or sole, coupled with a creamy sauce made with lemons… a perfect match!
Ingredients (for 2)
- 2 fillets flatfish
- 4 tbsp wheat flour
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt & black pepper
Directions
- Season the flatfish with salt and black pepper
- Put the flour on a flat plate and coat the fish fillets with the flour
- In a large skillet melt the butter over medium heat
- Add the fish and cook for 2 minutes per side; then remove to a serving plate (covered)
- Peel the lemons and thinly chop the zest
- Add sour cream and lemon zest to the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Squeeze the lemon juice in the pan, add thinly sliced parsley and stir to combine
- When ready, pour the sauce over the fish and enjoy!
