Cinnamon Macadamia Nut Brownies

Mouth-watering brownies are always a favorite for just about all chocolate lovers. This recipe adds a spiced flair with cinnamon and crunch with macadamia nuts which definitely upgrades a traditional already delicious dessert…

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 5 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp macadamia nuts
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1/2 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp white sugar


  • Set oven to 325 °F (160 °C)
  • Use foil to line baking dish, folding foil over the edges of the dish
  • Put margarine and sugar into a large bowl and use a hand mixer to blend until fluffy; add eggs and beat to combine
  • Sift cocoa powder, flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a container
  • Add flour mixture and milk alternately until mixture is combined, then add nuts and fold
  • Lightly oil prepared baking dish and add brownie mixture
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes then remove from heat and allow to cool
  • Slice, serve and enjoy!
