Pancakes with a banana twist and a rich chocolate syrup on top… very easy dessert and ready in no time!
Ingredients (for 2)
- 1 banana
- 4 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- a pinch of salt
Directions
- Take a small sauce pan and melt butter over low heat
- In different bowl mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar
- Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and add beaten eggs
- Mash overripe bananas and add them to the bowl
- Pour melted butter and milk and stir well to combine
- Heat a small nonstick pan over medium heat
- When hot, pour part of the pancake mixture into the pan and spread evenly
- When the upper side of the pancake is bubbling, turn over and cook 1 minute more
- Serve hot, pouring chocolate syrup on top!
Tips from the Chef
- If you are in a rush, just put all ingredients for the pancake mixture into a blender and pulse until smooth
- Pour enough mixture into the pan to have a nice thickness
- You can dust some powdered sugar on top if you like
