Satay is a typical dish of Southeast Asia, but also popular in China. It consists of a long marinating process and a quick and tasty broiling… in this version with beef!

- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Directions
- Slice or chop the beef and add it to a bowl
- Pour all remaining ingredients over the meat and toss to coat well
- Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (ideally overnight)
- When ready to be served, thread each strip of meat lengthwise on (bamboo) skewers
- Preheat oven or heat a large grill pan
- Broil or grill the skewers until meat is browned on both sides and serve immediately!
