Ingredients (for 2)
- 1/2 chicken breast (about 180 gr or 6 oz)
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander / cilantro
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- oil for frying
- salt
Directions
- Cut the chicken breast into pieces, any size you like, and put it aside
- Combine flour, garam masala powder, lemon juice, cilantro leaves (chopped) and a pinch of salt in a large bowl, add some water and mix well to get a thick batter
- Dip the chicken pieces in the batter and coat well
- Drop them gently in the frying oil (use a wok for best results) and cook for a few minutes until golden brown
- Remove the chicken from the pan with a slotted spoon and place it on paper towel to absorb any excess oil

- Add water in little quantities to the batter, so you can easily obtain the right thickness
- Try adding fresh chillies to the mix for extra spiciness!
