Beef Snap Pea and Pasta Stir Fry

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 1 beef sirloin steak (about 180 gr or 6 oz)
  • egg noodles (180 gr or 6 oz)
  • 1/2 sugarsnap peas
  • 1/2 cup beef stock
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 scallion
  • 1/2 tbsp corn starch

Directions

  • Prepare noodles as directed on package then drain and put aside
  • Boil sugar peas for 2 minutes, remove from flame, drain and run under cold water
  • Add vegetable oil to skillet, heat and add steak; cook for 2 minutes then take from skillet and put aside
  • If necessary add a bit of oil to skillet again and add in garlic, ginger and scallion; sauté for 1 minute
  • Put stock, soy sauce and cornstarch in a container and combine; pour into skillet, stir and cook for 1 minute
  • Add beef and peas to pot and cook for 5 minutes until fully heated, then put in noodles
  • Add sesame oil, toss and serve immediately!
