A variation of the original pancakes, with the addition of bananas into the mix… yummy!
Ingredients (for 2)
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 banana (overripe)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
Directions
- Take a small sauce pan and melt butter over low heat
- In a different bowl mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar
- Make a well in the flour mixture and add beaten eggs in the middle
- Mash the bananas and add them too
- Pour melted butter and milk, and stir well to combine
- Heat a small nonstick pan over medium heat
- When hot, pour part of the pancake mixture into the pan and spread evenly
- When the upper side of the pancake is bubbling, turn over with a spatula and cook for 1 minute more
- Serve hot and pour maple syrup on top!
Tips from the Chef
- If you want it even faster and easier, just put all ingredients into a blender and mix together
- Pour enough mixture into the pan to have a nice thickness
