Bacon and Blue Cheese Salad

An exquisite salad with a strong flavor given by the crunchy fried bacon and spiciness of blue cheese.

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/3 cup Roquefort blue cheese
  • 4 bacon slices
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • Wash the spinach under running cold water, drain it thoroughly and put it in a salad bowl
  • In a skillet, stir-fry bacon slices until crunchy and coarsely chop them into the bowl
  • Crumble the blue cheese into the bowl
  • Finely dice the onion and add it to the salad
  • In a small different bowl prepare the dressing: stir together olive oil, white wine vinegar and white sugar until combined
  • Pour the dressing in the bowl, toss well and serve!
