An exquisite salad with a strong flavor given by the crunchy fried bacon and spiciness of blue cheese.
Ingredients (for 2)
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1/3 cup Roquefort blue cheese
- 4 bacon slices
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Directions
- Wash the spinach under running cold water, drain it thoroughly and put it in a salad bowl
- In a skillet, stir-fry bacon slices until crunchy and coarsely chop them into the bowl
- Crumble the blue cheese into the bowl
- Finely dice the onion and add it to the salad
- In a small different bowl prepare the dressing: stir together olive oil, white wine vinegar and white sugar until combined
- Pour the dressing in the bowl, toss well and serve!
