Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 2 cups asparagus
  • 2 tbsp Hollandaise sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & black pepper



  • Prepare the asparagus by trimming the tough end stems
  • Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan and stir fry the asparagus for 2-3 minutes over high heat
  • Add a little water and a pinch of salt, cover and continue cooking over medium heat for another 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently
  • When ready, arrange on a serving platter, grind some black pepper on top and pour the Hollandaise sauce over
